What is Humaniti?
Humaniti is a network of experienced healthcare professionals that provide care in the comfort of your home, hotel or office. We come to you when you need it most. With Humaniti, you can access medical care anytime, anywhere.
Who are the therapists?
Every therapist providing services on Humaniti is a qualified and experienced medical professional registered with the HPCSA. They must also have a relevant academic degree, at least 1 year of experience.
How long will it take for me to get care?
This will vary with the type of care you need and the availability of a healthcare professional in your region. General practitioner services are available on demand. Physiotherapy services are by appointment.
Can I choose my healthcare professional?
If more than one provider accepts your request, you can choose the provider based on their profile. You may also request the same professional for follow-up visits subject to them being available.
What about my prescription?
Your healthcare professional may provide emergency medication where appropriate. A prescription will be provided to you or sent directly to a network pharmacy to deliver your medication during working hours
What happens if I need bloodwork?
Your treating provider will determine the appropriate bloodwork that you may need. In some instances you may go to the lab to have the tests done or a phlebotomist may come to you to perform the necessary tests. Your treating provider will discuss your results with you.
What’s excluded ?
Any surgical, trauma and medical emergency. In an emergency it is better to access urgent care in a hospital. In the event of any emergency, please call an ambulance service.
